A comparative description of the motor potential of boys (n=231) and girls (n=241) is presented. Results and conclusions. It has been established that among junior schoolchildren of the Chechen Republic there are quite significant gender differences in the level of physical development, motor readiness and functional state of the body, which must be taken into account when developing educational programs in the discipline «Physical Education» and in the process of organizing the process of physical education in general.
