Methods: To achieve this objective, the authors have identified the essence of this process, its prerequisites and results, and the relationship between the development of legal consciousness and national and foreign policies. The methodological basis includes general methods of cognition (deduction and abstraction) and special methods (historical-legal, formal-legal, comparative-legal, and systemic analysis) used in socio-political and historical-legal scientific research. Results: The analysis of the digitalization of socially significant industries in the Russian Federation shows that cybersecurity software is being created, as well as opportunities for digital transformation of all socially significant industries.
