Spectroscopic and lasing properties were investigated in dependence on Y/Sc/Al ratio in ceramic composition. Optical transmission of Yb:YSAG ceramics in visible and near-infrared spectral range exceeds 80 % that indicates a high quality of the Yb:YSAG samples.
