In the modern coal industry, air supply issues are key to the efficiency and safety of production processes. The technological process of air supply is a complex system of interrelated actions that begins with the emergence of initial data and ends with the achievement of the desired result. This process includes many aspects, from the selection and configuration of equipment to personnel training and process management in a constantly changing external environment. Research methodology and methods. The authors used the methods of artificial intelligence theory in their research. Discussion of research results. The article presents the results of research for the development of a method for constructing intelligent control systems for air supply systems for complex modeling and optimization of the air supply control system in the coal industry. It has been established that traditional control methods are often unable to adequately respond to changes in the process due to its complexity and uncertainty. In this regard, the use of artificial intelligence to automate the management of such processes is becoming an important area of research. Conclusion. The scientific basis and method for constructing intelligent control systems for air supply in coal mines are proposed for complex modeling and optimization of the air supply control system in the coal industry, which is an innovative approach to improving efficiency and safety in mines. Unlike existing safety management systems for air supply, the architecture and algorithms of the proposed system contain elements of a preliminary assessment of the threat of an emergency based on information, the technical condition of the control object and the mining and technical conditions of the air supply, which made it possible to use the data in a decision support device to predict and prevent the threat of an emergency. The research results can be used in the management of air supply technological processes in coal mines. Conclusions on the article. 1. Despite the achieved progressive results in the field of application of artificial intelligence methods in various fields of activity, there is a gap in the conceptual approach to their use for managing air supply technological processes in the coal industry. This circumstance emphasizes the need to develop and implement the concept of intelligent control of air supply technological processes. 2. It is necessary to create a system of intelligent control of TPV as the most effective approach, allowing to take into account the features of these TPV. Despite the achieved successes, the methods of artificial intelligence are used for control of technological processes of air supply insufficiently effectively.
