Today transformational technology raises a number of important problems of world outlook and methodological orientation, and engineering education can address these problems by forming specialists of critical thinking. Consideration of the influence of the role of general humanitarian disciplines in engineering education can be used as a basis for improving the methodology and methodology of technical education.
