The great interest is the analysis of the consequences of climate change on the development of various sectors of the economy. For balneology, this problem is also relevant, since the climate is often one of the important therapeutic factors in resort regions. Pyatigorsk, along with other cities of the ecological resort region Caucasian Mineralnye Vody, is famous not only for its mineral water sources, but also for its healing climate. However, systematized data on the climate of Pyatigorsk are contained only in issues of the Handbook on the Climate of the USSR and refer to the observation period up to 1966. Due to the climate changes taking place on the planet, these data, of course, are outdated. This article is devoted to the study of the current climate and the temporal dynamics of changes in the main climatic characteristics of the Pyatigorsk resort. The article describes modern climate and the temporal dynamics of the change of major climatic characteristics of Pyatigorsk resort.
