The structure of the textbook corresponds to the modular system of education, helps students to master the material, prepare for the biology exam andmaster the competencies UK-1, UK-2, GPC-5 necessary in the professional activities of a doctor. The textbook presents material on cytology, human genetics and medical parasitology in a clear logical sequence. To consolidate the material, questions are proposed for independent work of students and the course of practical work. The textbook has tables for students' answers and boxes for drawing pathogens, contains problem-situational tasks and tests on all topics for self-control. The textbook is well illustrated.
