要約: | The aim of present study is to reveal the interaction between subjective evaluation of quality of life and professional burnout in teachers. This aim is reached by review- and analytical method, through comparative description of the presented phenomena in national and international literature. We revealed that high subjective evaluation of the quality of life is predicted by self-acceptance as an integral characteristic of self-actualizing personality, which includes self-satisfaction and which is a component of psychological well-being. Opposite qualities – low self-esteem, external locus of control and negative individual experience – facilitate burnout and determine professional destructions. Based on this, we propose that the interaction between subjective evaluation of the quality of life and professional burnout in teachers has the nature of inverse dependence – the higher is the quality of life evaluation, the lower is the possibility of professional burnout. Considering the revealed interaction, we propose a strategy of burnout prophylactics. The essence of this strategy is developing auto psychological competency, which is the basis of changing the subjective quality of life evaluation to the extent of satisfaction and happiness |
